Hola a todos! Me llamo Nathan Stagnaro, tengo 20 años y en eso momento estoy comenzando mi intercambio en La Herradura, un centro de ensenanza de Espanol en Montevideo. Voy a trabajar con los medios sociales y la presencia general de la red para la escuela. El plan cuando me llegue fue eso: Tomar treis semanas de clases intensivos y despues comenzar cinco semanas mas para trabajer en mi intercambio y yo no sabia mas que eso. Ahorrita, he terminado mis clases y estoy comenzando mis primer dias de trabajo en la escuela y ya he aprendido muchisimo sobre la cultura y la lengua aca en Uruguay pero todavia tengo mucho que yo tengo que aprender. Hello everyone, my name is Nathan Stagnaro, I am 20 years old  as of this moment I am starting my internship at La Herradura language school working with and contributing to their social media accounts and general internet presence. The plan as I was told when I arrived was this: Three weeks of intensive Spanish classes followed by five weeks of interning with very few details included. Right now, I am at the end of three weeks of classes and I am beginning my internship here and I have already learned so much about the language and the culture here but I still have so much to go. Es costumbre de comer ñoquis  los el día 29 de cada mes. Ayer una escuela para niños y jóvenes con discapacidad motriz y trastornos aprovecho el día 29 para preparar ñoquis para un acto benéfico que tiene como objetivo refaccionar la piscina de la institución // There is a tradition of eating noquis  on the 29th of each month. Yesteday a school for Children and young adults with a disability and disorder took advantage of this day to prepare noquis during a beneficiary event with the goal to collect money to restore the swimmingpool.

A new intern started working at the La Herradura Enseñaza de Español in Montevideo last month and they will be working until the start of May. They’re now approaching the mid-way point of their internship so they have posted the first entry to their own blog, which is an informative account on everything they have done and experienced so far.

There are many voluntary options available to students at La Herradura and one of which is the internship at the Spanish school itself.
