Host Family

Staying with a Host Family offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the daily life and culture of Uruguay, improving your Spanish skills through daily interactions. Host families are located in various neighborhoods, either within walking distance or a 10-15 minute bus ride from the school, including Centro, Pocitos, and Parque Rodó.

You will have a private room (single with shared bathroom, or double upon request) and enjoy access to shared spaces like the living and dining areas. Most host families consist of single women or young families with 1 or 2 children.

You’ll share two meals a day—breakfast and dinner—with your host family, and it’s important to notify them if you will miss dinner or plan to be away for the weekend. While cooking is not permitted, you can use the fridge to store snacks and drinks.

Check-in is on Sundays, with one meal provided that day, and check-out is on Saturdays at 10:00 AM after breakfast. If you wish to arrive or leave on a different day, or if you need an extra meal with the family, these arrangements can be made in advance through the school.

Family residence

The Family Residence offers comfortable accommodations conveniently located within walking distance of the school, allowing for a blend of independence and community.

You can choose from single rooms, with double and twin options available upon request. The home features a fully-equipped kitchen, a spacious living-dining area, and a garden for relaxation and socialization.

You’ll have the freedom to prepare your own meals, with access to the fridge for storing drinks and snacks. The distance to the school is approximately 15 minutes on foot, making it easy to commute.

Check-in is on Sundays, and check-out is on Saturdays at 10:00 AM. If you need to arrive or leave on different days, arrangements can be made through the school.

Experience Comfortable Living at Zag Coliving

We are excited to announce our partnership with Zag, a premium coliving space located in the Peninsula area of Punta del Este. Zag offers an excellent opportunity for students to enjoy comfortable accommodations while being surrounded by all the essential services you need.

The coliving space features beautifully designed rooms, ensuring a bright and inviting atmosphere. Each room benefits from natural light and views, perfect for both relaxation and studying.

Zag includes shared amenities such as a fully-equipped kitchen and a spacious living-dining area that promotes socializing and connection among residents. The garden provides an ideal setting for sunbathing, studying, or enjoying a barbecue with friends.

Conveniently situated just a short walk from the city center and two blocks from the nearest beach, Zag is surrounded by shops, restaurants, markets, and bus services—all within a five-block radius. The main bus terminal is easily accessible, making weekend trips outside of Punta del Este a breeze.
