“Quebrada De Los Cuervos”
Hello everyone! As July vacations approach, it’s a wonderful time to explore the unique experiences Uruguay has to offer.
This period is perfect for immersing yourself in local culture and nature while improving your Spanish skills.
Nature and Adventure
Uruguay boasts diverse landscapes ideal for exploration. A must-visit is the Quebrada de los Cuervos, located in the Cerro Largo Department, about 120 km from Treinta y Tres. To get there from Montevideo, you can take Route 8 and connect to Route 7. If you’re coming from Punta del Este, it's about 200 km via Route 9.
Another popular winter activity for Uruguayans is visiting the thermal baths. Termas del Daymán, near Salto(approximately 500 km from Montevideo), and Termas de Arapey, about 100 km from Salto, provide a perfect escape from the winter chill. From Montevideo, head north on Route 1 to Route 3, and from Punta del Este, navigate through Route 10 to Route 1.
