With small groups and certified teachers, you get personal attention every step of the way. Outside the classroom, you’ll have plenty of chances to practice Spanish with locals and experience Montevideo firsthand.

Group classes focus on grammar and conversation, letting you practice with peers while strengthening your foundation. One private lesson per week gives you focused guidance on the areas you want to improve most.
You can also use some of your private lesson time for cultural activities. Join a teacher or staff member on trips to local museums, markets, or landmarks, practicing Spanish in real situations while experiencing Uruguayan culture.

What can I expect to learn?
What you learn depends on your level and the length of your stay, but here’s a general idea
Grammar
Elementary: You’ll cover present tense verbs, ser and estar, reflexive pronouns, the present continuous, comparatives and superlatives, and forming questions.
Intermediate: You’ll work on past tense verbs, perfect tenses, reflexive verbs, direct and indirect object pronouns, reported speech, and prepositions like por and para.
Advanced: You’ll explore contrasting past tenses, present and past subjunctive, future and conditional tenses, and advanced reported speech.
Conversation
Conversation classes focus on speaking, listening, and building fluency. Teachers use prompts such as short texts, pictures, or questions to guide discussions. Topics include personal stories, opinions, asking for advice, cultural differences, travel, current events, and everyday life in Uruguay.
Classes are relaxed and interactive. Some conversations happen outside, in the garden, on the terrace, or during local activities, giving you a chance to practice Spanish naturally with real people.
